1. Who We Are

Sewer Studs Plumbing & Drain ("we," "our," or "us") is a family-owned and operated plumbing contractor serving Tampa Bay, Florida. Florida State Plumbing Contractor License #CFC1430270.

2. Agreement to These Terms

By using our website at www.sewerstuds.com or scheduling a service with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

3. Service Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to schedule plumbing services with us. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you are authorized to approve work on the property in question.

4. Estimates & Firm Pricing

We give firm, upfront quotes before any work begins — no coupon games, no hourly surprises, no vague phone estimates. Your quote is firm for the scope of work described.

If we discover conditions that change the scope — such as deterioration beyond what the camera inspection showed, code violations, unpermitted prior work, or hazardous materials — we will stop, explain what we found, and provide a written change order before proceeding. No additional work happens without your approval.

5. Deposits & Payment

On larger projects, we require 50% upfront with the remaining 50% due upon completion. For all other work, payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept cash, checks, and major credit/debit cards, and we offer financing through Acorn for qualifying projects. Past-due balances may incur a late fee after 30 days.

6. Permits & Inspections

We pull and pay for required permits as part of your project and coordinate inspections.

If we discover code violations, hazardous materials (such as mold, asbestos, or lead), or unpermitted prior work, we will stop work, inform you promptly, and let you know whether a written change order is needed before continuing.

7. Restoration & Existing Conditions

Sewer and excavation work disturbs soil, sod, landscaping, and sometimes concrete or pavers. We perform a clean backfill and leave the work area tidy — but we cannot promise your yard or hardscape will look exactly as it did before. Deep digging simply can't guarantee a picture-perfect finish.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions on your property, including undisclosed underground utilities, prior unpermitted work, or existing structural issues.

8. Warranties

We stand behind our workmanship:

• Plumbing repairs: 1-year workmanship warranty.
• Water heaters and new fixtures: extended warranties ranging from 2 to 10 years, depending on the equipment and package — stated on your invoice.
• Sewer repairs and replacements: spot repairs carry a 2-year parts and labor warranty; longer repairs and partial replacements carry a 5-year parts and labor warranty; complete sewer replacements carry a 10-year parts and labor warranty — stated on your invoice.

The exact warranty for your job appears on your invoice. Claims must be made within the warranty period. Warranties are void if damage results from misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or alterations by third parties.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in a service fee.

10. Text Messaging

By providing your phone number on our forms, you agree that Sewer Studs Plumbing & Drain may contact you by phone call and text message (including automated messages) about your request and appointments. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

11. Limitation of Liability

Sewer Studs Plumbing & Drain is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services rendered.

12. Use of Website Content

All content on this website — including text, logos, images, and service descriptions — is the property of Sewer Studs Plumbing & Drain and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without written permission.

13. Privacy

We value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
